THE LAST STRAW | PANDEMIC PANDEMONIUM
An illustration I did as part of The Stellenbosch Academy of Design & Photography's virtual group exhibition, Pandemic Pandemonium: an illustrator's response to life since Covid-19. Not enough thought has gone into how badly the use of disposable masks, sanitisers and gloves affects our environment. The face masks we use to protect ourselves from Covid-19 could look very similar to jellyfish when you're a turtle. This is just a little reminder that we still need to take care of our Earth and our Oceans- even in a pandemic.
